Walnut Hill Antiques & Auctions is pleased to present the Raymond Wilson Estate online auction.

Condition of items: We try to note all chips, cracks, or roughness as we observe them. All items are sold as is, where is, with no guarantees. Preview is Saturday, Nov 12, 10-2. Email info@WalnutHillAuctions.com to register for preview. 

LOCATION: Property is located in Wake, VA 23176 and is under survellience. Address to be provided to winning bidders. 

BUYERS PREMIUM is 15% and sales tax is 5.3%.

If you are tax exempt, your tax exempt form must be received via email before 5 p.m. the day the auction closes or you will be charged tax.  Email to info@WalnutHillAuctions.com. 

AUCTION CLOSING:
This auction is open for bidding November 10, 2022 and will begin closing at 6:30pm EST on Thursday, November 17th. This auction features a soft close of 3 lots per minute, if a bid is placed in the final minute that lot will be extended an additional 60 seconds until no other bids are placed and the lot is sold.

PICK UP:  Saturday, Nov 19th, 9-2 pm. You will need to schedule your time via the link in your invoiceBring a photo ID and be prepared to present your email invoice receipt of purchase. Bring help to load, we will not have staff on hand to load. 

SHIPPING: Shipping is available on some items. We do not ship furniture or highly fragile items. Our shipping department is in house and it may take up to 3 weeks depending on the volume of items requiring shipment. There is a $10 fee to ship, plus actual postage plus insurance. Insurance is required on all shipments at buyer's expense. If you have questions about shipping, please ask prior to bidding. 


 

Buyers Premium:
The buyer’s premium of 15% will be added to each successful bid. 


Payment:
The card that you register with will be charged immediately upon the close of auction.


Pick Up:
Pick up is by appointment. You will receive a link to Sign Up Genius to schedule your time with your invoice. We suggest bringing your invoice to ensure you collect all your items. Bring help to load; we will not have staff on hand to help you load items. By bidding, you agree that all selling parties (Seller, Walnut Hill Auctions & Antiques, and BidWrangler) are not liable for any and all accidents or injuries on sale property. 

PICK UP DAY is listed in the Saturday after auction ends. .  

Pick up notes:

  • We highly encourage you to check your invoice to ensure you have collected all of your items before leaving. We don't want you to accidentally leave anything behind. It is your responsibility to ensure you have all the items you paid for. 
  • If you purchase a "lot" of multiple items or boxes, you must take ALL items with you. We do not have trash facilities on premises for unwanted items.


Sales Tax: 

Virginia sales tax of 5.3% will be charged on all items unless the buyer provides a valid sales tax exemption form, see requirements below. VA law requires that dealers have a current signed VA Department of Taxation Sales and Use Tax Certificate of Exemption on file with us. Sales tax exemption must be claimed and your form presented by 5 p.m. on the auction closing date. Your form must be EMAILED to info@WalnutHillAuctions. If it is not received by 5 p.m. on the last day of the auction, you will be charged tax. 

Merchandise :

All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We do our best to properly identify items and our descriptions are believed to be correct, but are not guaranteed. All items are sold "as-is, where is."  We will answer questions concerning condition, color, size, or age of a lot, but these are simply opinions and do not constitute a warranty or guarantee. If you have doubt about an item, then don’t bid. We do not give refunds and there are no chargebacks. 

Bidding:

Your bid is a contract to purchase that item and your bid is binding. No bid can be retracted. Online auctions use bid notifications, staggered closing, and auto-extend bidding. This allows items to close at a pre-determined rate of 5 items per minute. With auto-extend bidding, the closing time of individual lots will be extended when a bid is placed in the last 1 minute of the auction. This allows you a chance to place a final bid on an item you may have otherwise missed. The auctioneer is the final authroity on any bidding dispute. 

Auctioneer reserves the right to reopen or close an auction when an unforeseen interruption to the auction occurs. 


Shipping:

We ship some items inhouse, and shipping may take up to 3 weeks, depending on the size of the auction. You will be billed additonally on your auction invoice for the cost of postage plus a $10 handling fee PER ITEM. These fees must be paid in advance of shipment. All items must carry insurance at buyer's expense. We do not ship fragile items, large items, or furniture.
